RELAX MAX RARE PIN-UP in lithographed sheet metal circa 1979. Signed "Aslan". Very good condition, superb colours, very good brightness (minor edge damage) "Vion pin-up line Limoges. 41.3 x 22.5 cm MAX, a famous radio presenter of the 70s from a mythical programme on the RTL station, Max MEYNIER who, from 1972, presented the programme "les routiers sont sympas" in the 9pm - midnight slot. The programme became "relax Max" in 1979, then "Allo Max" in 1981, and finally "fréquence Max" from 1982 to 1986. (Source: savour.eu) Alain Aslan Gourdon, born in Bordeaux (Gironde) on 23 May 1930 and died on 11 February 2014 in Sainte-Adèle, Canada, was a French painter, illustrator and sculptor. He is best known in France for his pin-up girls. From 1963 to 1981, Aslan created the famous pin-ups for Lui magazine.
