Rare table clock circa 1930 representing the head of "Sam" the grinder, after "MICH" (jean-Marie Michel Liebaux) not mentioned.
In very good condition, very slight wear to the edges. The thick bevelled glass is perfect. With its stand on the back (not tested).
In nickel-plated brass.

Hutchinson was founded in 1853 in Châlette-sur-Loing (Loiret, Centre-Val de Loire), 100 km south of Paris, by Hiram Hutchinson. This American entrepreneur, a recent immigrant to France, filed the first French patent on the vulcanisation of rubber, the basis for our first product: A l'Aigle boots, to keep feet dry. In 1890, Hutchinson moved into the manufacture of bicycle tyres, and by 1905 had already turned its attention to the automotive sector. In 1910, Hutchinson entered the aeronautical industry.
