COINTREAU TRIPLE SEC - Extremely rare polychrome plaster bas-relief in the round for the Angevine liqueur, circa 1898. Represents the famous Pierrot by Nicolas Tamagno (illustrator/affichiste). Good condition, very good colours, with slight cracks and a few minor chips around the edges. Nice size: 62 x 39 cm. "White - Angers In 1849, Adolphe Cointreau, a confectioner in Angers, began producing liqueurs, in particular Guignolet (fruit alcohol from the Maine-et-Loire region). In 1885, the Cointreau brand and its square bottle were registered. In 1989, the company merged with Cognac Rémy Martin (source: cointreau.com). A family saga adorned with distinctions, knowing how to reinvent itself.
