Original embossed lithographed advertising sheet. 49.5 x 34 cm.
- Good condition - colour and brilliance preserved. The pictorial surface on the upper left shows deterioration with a weakening of the coloured layer, leading to discrete lifting and occasional losses.
Traces of oxidation around the edges.
Établissements "Félix Eydoux & cie - Marseille", founded in Marseille in 1855 by Félix Eydoux, was a major manufacturer of "La Vierge" soap, which won several awards (Grand Prix at the 1900 Universal Exhibition). Renowned for the quality of its products made from selected oils, the company evolved in the 20th century, becoming "La Nouvelle Savonnerie La Vierge" in 1917.
