Original single-sided enamelled advertising plaque. 68 x 48.5 cm. Signed "L'émaillo-gravure Paris - Émaillerie Alsacienne de Strasbourg".
Good condition - the colours are well preserved and bright, with a present brilliance despite some scattered fine micro-scratches. Discreet depigmentation in the lower right corner, localized chips mainly on the periphery and very slight distortion.

Charles Marga (1890-1959 Marc-Charles-Edmond Margarot), trained at the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, was an illustrator, poster artist, playwright and journalist. He directed the Théâtre de l'Horloge from 1926, as well as the Théâtre Humoristique de Vichy, an active figure in Lyon's artistic life.
