STAR GENTIANE - c.1935-40
Original advertising jug in yellow ceramic with black lettering in relief on both sides. 16 cm high. Stamped below "Terre d'acier Revol - Saint-Uze".
- Very good condition.
Beautiful yellow colour, well marked, fresh and luminous, with a pleasant shine.
There are a few very discreet irregularities in the glaze, probably due to the original firing, which have no effect on the presentation.
A fine example.
Star Gentiane, gentian-based alcohol, registered in 1933, attributed to the Floralpine distillery, located in the Pougny-Chancy area, on the Franco-Swiss border.
The roots used probably came from neighbouring mountain pastures in the Jura mountains.
