Original advertising paper cup in lithographed sheet metal. 17.8 cm long "Imp.F.Champenois - Paris".
Good condition - good colours, minor missing, has all its gold.
View of the Benedictine distillery at Fécamp Abbey on the reverse.
According to tradition, Benedictine originated in 1510 at Fécamp Abbey, where the monk Dom Bernardo Vincelli created an elixir of plants and spices.
Rediscovered in 1863 by Alexandre Le Grand, the recipe gave rise to the famous Bénédictine liqueur, presented in an emblematic bottle designed by its creator and marked with the initials "D.O.M." ("Deo Optimo Maximo"). ("Deo Optimo Maximo").
