Rare original convex lithographed advertising sheet. 47 cm diameter.

Good condition - The colours, particularly fresh, retain a beautiful intensity, accompanied by a very present brilliance. The whole is neatly presented. There are only slight traces of oxidation and a few superficial marks of use, discreet and consistent with its age.
Bière du Lion is a French brand founded by the Richard Frères breweries, major Parisian industrialists based in Ivry, whose establishments have now disappeared. Following the takeover of the Dumesnil brewery, the brand was taken over by Kronenbourg in the 1950s and 1960s.
Eugène Ogé, a poster artist and caricaturist, specialised in highly expressive satirical drawings. His style was based on deformed bodies and caricatured faces.
