Original lithographed advertising card. 40 x 30 cm. "Rapid-press. Screen, Liège - Zie Zegel Keerzijde".
Very good condition - superb colours, quality printing, there is a very discreet alteration in the lower left corner.

Founded in 1804 by Bernard van Zuylen, the company rapidly expanded into the coffee trade in Liège (Belgium). In 1920, it launched the "Chat Noir" brand and expanded by buying out other coffee roasters.
After the Second World War, it moved to Jupille, where it modernised and innovated, notably with soluble coffee and vacuum packaging.
Weakened by the coffee crisis in 1979, it was taken over by Jacobs, then integrated into the Kraft Foods group.
The famous logo was originally designed by A. M. Cassandre.
