This plate emphasises distinction over graphics, a direct reference to the monarchy, the mention of supplier to the Queen of England and the Prince of Wales underlines the prestige of the house and its link with the court. These two griffins underline the power and nobility of the brand.
Perrier-Jouët, founded in 1811 in Épernay by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët, has an elegant and innovative style, marked by the early introduction of brut champagne. Its identity was established in 1902 with the anemone bottle designed by Émile Gallé.
