Very good condition, with well-marked colours, discrete oxidation, slight deformation at the edges and a fine scratch on the letter "R". -Very satisfactory overall.
Founded in Saint-Étienne in 1898 by Jules Ravat and Auguste Argaud, Ravat is one of France's leading cycle manufacturers. In full expansion between the wars, they produced bicycles and motorised two-wheelers, notably under the Wonder brand.
A symbol of the golden age of the bicycle and of Saint-Etienne's industrial dynamism, the company also excelled in competition and had an advanced social policy.
In the 1950s, the company was taken over by Cycles Mercier, and disappeared in 1958.
