MICHELIN - LEBARON CHROMOGRAPH. "GROUPE LEBARON MICH" c 1930 Very rare inflator/chromograph originally mounted on a LEBARON (Paris) device for applying spray paint. Interesting testimony to the versatility of Michelin equipment and its association, illustrated by the presence of the Bibendum character and his accessories. Rare complete and perfectly functional set operating on the original 220 V. Very good condition, complete original set with a beautiful patina. Restored to working order (Pistol also working). Discreet crack in the zamac pressure gauge body. Drained of oil for transport, oil will need to be added for operation. André Michelin and his brother Édouard Michelin took over the Barbier-Daubrée family business in 1886. In Clermont-Ferrand, on 28 May 1889, the company name was changed to "Michelin et Cie".
