Complete crate, retaining its four original metal sheets on each side.
Muted colours, with traces of oxidation, wear and localised corrosion.

Homogeneous ensemble with a beautiful original patina.
Mobiloil originated at the end of the 19th century in the United States, as part of the Vacuum Oil Company, a subsidiary of Standard Oil founded by John D. Rockefeller.
After the break-up of Standard Oil in 1911, the Standard Oil Company of New York (Socony) became one of the group's heirs.
From 1904, the brand used the figure of the Gargoyle for its lubricants. In the 1930s, following the Socony-Vacuum merger, the famous winged Pegasus, a symbol of speed and modernity, became the emblem of Mobiloil.
