AIR FRANCE - "WORLD AIR NETWORK" c.1955 Lockheed constellation.
Rare prestige desk ashtray/ original advertising airliner model in cast aluminium supported by its globe, with its original glass ashtray featuring Lucien Boucher's planisphere, held underneath by its original metal U-shaped support slats.
The Air France shrimp is engraved on the terrace, along with the words "Made in France".
The base 25.4 x 12.8 cm . The plane 21.2 x 17 cm. The whole approximately 18 cm high.

Very good condition, the colours are superbly preserved (globe and ashtray), everything is entirely original, the Plexiglas propellers are also original, we note an accident on two of them. The base has its four original black runners.
The ashtray, in very good condition, is made of moulded glass with offset printing fixed to the coaster and bears the name "Sur les ailes d'Air France, découvrez le monde à votre tour" (On the wings of Air France, discover the world in your turn), made by "A.Gerrer S.A Mulhouse".
