MERCURIO - c.1962
Original advertising ashtray in burgundy ceramic. Complete with its lid, the compartment is used to store cigarettes. Approximately 18.5 x 8 cm. Underneath marked in those "SIPA France"; "MERCURIO tél: 3-47 St Eugène".
Very good condition - superb colours and very good brightness.
On the inside of the lid there are three small chips along the edge, invisible in presentation.
Mercurio began to develop in Saint-Tropez in 1962 under the impetus of Antoine Mercurio, who helped to make the port a mecca for luxury yachts, notably with the Riva boats.
