Beautiful Easter egg in red lacquered papier mâché,
depicting the Resurrection of Christ on one side and the Guardian Angel on the other, opening in two parts thanks to a gilded bronze frame, holding a tassel of trimmings at the lower end and a suspension system at the upper end, the interior gilded. Very slight damage and crazing.
The frame inscribed with Soviet inventory numbers in red and Cyrillic "G 42931/67".
