A collection of five issues (Volumes I–V) of the famous Bulletin of the Kutchino Aerodynamic Institute, which belonged to its founder, Dimitri Riabouchinsky. Ed. Goliké and A. Wilborg, St Petersburg, 1906–1912. In French, 108 pp., 127 pp. and fold-out diagrams, 66 pp. and ill., 140 pp. and fold-out diagrams, 7 pp. and 7 pp., in-4, later binding. B.E. Copies of the famous research bulletin of the Kuchino Institute are extremely rare on the market. The complete set of issues, from the personal collection of the institute’s founder, is of unique scientific value. Dimitri Ryabouchinski began his research into hydrodynamics in a specialised laboratory built within his institute. The results of his research were published in the form of bulletins in French. Included: Bulletin of the Aerodynamic Institute in Cucino, Issue VI. Published by Gauthier-Villards et Cie, Paris, 1920. 100 pp., hardback, 27 x 19 cm, generally in fair condition (creases and a slight tear on the cover). Copies of the famous bulletin of the Cucino Institute’s research are extremely rare on the market. This complete collection of issues from the personal collection of the institute’s founder is of unique scientific and bibliographical value. Based on a special laboratory built in 1911 at the institute, D.P. Ryabushinsky began his research in the field of hydrodynamics, publishing his findings in the form of bulletins in French. Five issues were published in Russia; the sixth and final issue was published in Paris.
