[AUTHOR’S COPY] RIABOUCHINSKY Dimitri (1882–1962) Theses submitted to the Faculty of Sciences of Paris for the degree of Doctor of Mathematical Sciences, by Mr Dimitri Riabouchinski, founder and director of the Kuchino Aerodynamic Institute. First thesis – Research in Hydrodynamics. Second thesis – On the general equations of motion of solid bodies in an incompressible fluid. Defended on 15 June 1922 before the Examination Board. Published by Gauthier-Villars et Cie, Paris, 1922. In French, 132 pp., in-4, later binding, A.B.E. Among the examiners were the French mathematician Gabriel Koenings (chairman of the committee), a professor at his faculty and a renowned mathematician, Émile Borel, and the French mathematicians Paul Montel and Henri Villat. First thesis – Studies in Hydrodynamics. Second thesis – On the General Equations of Motion of Rigid Bodies in an Incompressible Fluid. Submitted for defence on 15 June 1922 before the examination board. Published by Gauthier-Villars et Cie, Paris, 1922. In French, 132 pp., 25 x 20 cm, owner’s binding, generally in good condition. Among Dmitry Ryabushinsky’s examiners were: the French mathematician Gabriel Koenigs (chairman of the board), a professor at his faculty and the renowned mathematician Émile Borel, as well as the French mathematicians Paul Montel and Henri Villat.
