Dimitri Riabouchinsky (1882–1962) – Autograph • Diary No. 2 (16 March 1948 to 6 December 1949) by Dimitri Riabouchinsky. Personal notebook containing notes in Russian and French, 189 pp. (entirely filled in with pen and pencil), 30 x 20 cm, the original binding is detached, in poor condition (stains, tears). The notebook contains a wide variety of daily notes: addresses and telephone numbers, lists of telephone calls, calculations, handwritten extracts from magazine articles, diary-style notes on visits and activities, calculations of annual membership fees for the Society for the Preservation of Russian Cultural Values, and notes on past meetings of the society. The Society for the Preservation of Russian Cultural Values, founded in 1945 in Paris, aimed to catalogue and promote preserved Russian cultural heritage, as well as to establish a museum in Paris.
