• A Necessary War. Signed manuscript, one notebook, 9 pp., 22 × 17 cm. An account of absurd wars and necessary wars, in which the war against the Third International is classified among the ‘just’ and ‘most useful’ wars. The author describes in detail the economic decline of Communist Russia and reflects on the financial losses suffered by Russia during the period of Communist rule. He also describes the potential benefit of such a war for Europe.
• Autograph letter signed ‘Volodia’ addressed to Vera Sergeevna Riabouchinsky (wife of D.P. Riabouchinsky). 16/29 July 1947, 2 pp., 27 x 21 cm. A friendly letter in which he recounts his discussion with his brother about mathematical axioms, then shares his news: “Paris has become considerably depopulated, and this is even noticeable in the libraries. ”

RIABOUCHINSKY Vladimir (1873–1955) – Russian entrepreneur, elder brother of the inventor Dimitri Riabouchinsky, banker. A leading figure in the White movement, an expert on General P. N. Wrangel’s economic council. In exile, he founded and ran the company ‘Icône’, and authored a series of works on iconography and the history of the Russian bourgeoisie.
