Published by ‘The Double-Headed Eagle’, Berlin. A rare complete collection covering the years 1920 to 1922. Issues: Nos. 2–23. Bound in a collated volume, owner’s binding, 22 x 15 cm, in good condition. Handwritten bookplate ‘N. Kotliarewsky’ on the cover of the second issue. The Russian monarchist journal ‘The Double-headed Eagle’ was published in Berlin from 1920 to 1922, and subsequently in Paris from 1926 to 1931. It served as the official publication of the Supreme Monarchist Council, an organisation founded by Russian émigrés in 1921 in Reichenhall.
