Anton Antonovich Kersnovsky (1907–1944) – publicist, military historian. In exile from the 1920s onwards. Author of over five hundred military-political articles and around a dozen books (of which only two were published). Kersnovsky’s *History of the Russian Army* occupies a prominent place among the fundamental works on Russian military history.
