Cavalry officer’s sabre, 1817 model, with a three-pronged guard in gilded bronze, a filigree leather tang, a rounded pommel, a black silk sword-knot and a tassel with silver curls, a fine steel blade with engraved neoclassical decoration, blued and gilded on both sides, depicting military trophies, griffins and the goddess Minerva; the inscription “ZLATOUST YEAR 1823” is engraved on the edge.
