Cossack officer’s chachka, 1881–1909 model, with a gilded bronze pommel decorated with the cipher of Tsar Nicholas II and pierced to hold a strap embroidered with silver thread, the fluted brown wooden hilt, the steel blade engraved on one side with the monogram of Tsar Nicholas II and on the other with the double-headed imperial eagle, the edge engraved in Cyrillic with the mark of the Zlatoust workshop.
