Imperial Navy officer’s dagger “For Valour”,
with a gilded bronze spherical pommel decorated with the monogram of Tsar Nicholas II, the top section missing, a fluted tang, the gilt-bronze ‘S’-shaped guard engraved in Cyrillic with ‘For Valour’ on both sides, the steel blade, in its black leather scabbard with gilt-bronze fittings decorated with laurel leaves. Some losses and damage; the tang requires reattachment.
