Silver commemorative medal marking the reign of Emperor Nicholas I (1825–1855). The obverse depicts the left-facing profile of Nicholas I, surrounded by the inscription “Nicholas I, Emperor and Autocrat of All Russia”. On the reverse, in the centre, are the dates of his reign, 1825–1855, surrounded by the inscriptions: ‘In memory of the Tsar’ and ‘To those who served him faithfully’. Oxidation, signs of wear.
