With a modern ribbon in the colours of St George and St Anne. Medallist’s mark: N. Kozin. Diameter: 2.8 cm. Weight: 19.1 g. History Established on 12 July 1864, this medal was intended to honour military personnel, civil servants, priests, medical staff and volunteers who took part in military operations during the conquest of the Western Caucasus in the mid-19th century.
