Graduation badge of the Pages’ Corps, made of 84 zolotniks (875 thousandths) vermeil and white enamel. Featuring a wheel and a plaque engraved in Cyrillic with ‘Prince Amilakhvari’. Chips. St Petersburg, 1899–1908. Silversmith: probably ‘NE’ in Cyrillic; hallmark difficult to read. Length: 4.4 cm. Gross weight: 25.5 g. Provenance Probably presented to Prince Alexander Vladimirovich Amilakhvari (1879–1903), a graduate of the Pages’ Corps in August 1902.
