Description
Commemorative token marking the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Orlovsky Bakhtine Cadet Corps,
made of silver (84 zolotniks, 875 thousandths) and gold (585 thousandths), partially enamelled in polychrome, engraved in Cyrillic at the top with ‘Founded 6 December 1843–1893’ on either side of the monogram of Emperor Nicholas I; the reverse is engraved with the date ‘1883’. Good condition.
