Uniform of an Aide-de-camp to His Imperial Majesty (Флигель-Адъютант Е.И.В.)
or of a General of the Retinue of His Imperial Majesty (Генерал Свиты Е.И.В.).
The straight tunic is made of black woollen cloth with white piping; the collar and cuffs are scarlet, embroidered with silver thread; buttons feature the imperial eagle in silver-plated brass; the tailcoat has red edging and white piping; the epaulettes are missing. With attached cream wool trousers featuring silver herringbone braid. Signs of wear, damage and missing parts.
Date from the reign of Nicholas I (1829–1855).
