Lieutenant’s uniform of the 9th Regiment of Finnish Skirmishers. The tunic, made of ‘Tsar’s green’ woollen cloth with raspberry-coloured piping, features a front panel fastening on the left and 2 × 6 buttons bearing the imperial eagle in gilded brass, a stand-up collar entirely embroidered with two rows of gold thread, with a white-orange-black cord for the revolver holster and an officer’s belt; the attached collar guard bears the inscription: ‘За отличие против китайцев в 1900 году’ (‘For distinction against the Chinese in the year 1900’). With attached trousers in dark green woollen cloth with red piping, bearing the stamp of the Kansantheater Puvusto in Helsinki. Signs of wear, missing sections and damage. Nicholas II period.
