Description
Officer’s tunic of the Guards Crew (Гвардейский экипаж)
for shore duty, or of the Admiralty. Double-breasted black woollen tunic with 2 x 8 silver-plated brass buttons featuring the Imperial Eagle and naval anchors; collar and lapels embroidered in silver with naval anchor motifs. Cream-coloured silk lining with numerous theatre stamps from the 1930s. Features an enamelled metal badge commemorating the bicentenary of the Guards Carriage Corps (approved by Nicholas II on 8 February 1910). The shoulder tabs are missing. Signs of wear and minor damage, but in good overall condition.

INCLUDED is a period general officer’s (admiral’s) bicorne of the Navy in black felt, with silver braids and silver braid running across a white-orange-black cockade held in place by a silver button (some damage).
