Parade helmet for a musician or trumpeter in the dragoon regiments,
domed in shape and lined with black leather, adorned with a transverse braid of red-dyed horsehair; the front plate features the imperial eagle in silver-plated brass, black leather visor with silver-plated metal edging and neck guard; chinstraps in silver-plated metal scales with a white and orange leather regimental cockade (showing signs of wear). Minor knocks and losses; the braid may have been replaced.
