Officer’s cap of the 4th Kharkov Lancers (Uhlans) Regiment,
made of black patent leather, featuring on the front a double-headed imperial eagle in gilded brass, surmounted by a ribbon engraved in Cyrillic with the distinction ‘За отличие ’ (For Distinction), the square crown in black patent leather edged with gold braid, the lapel in ribbed yellow velvet with gold braided cords and in the colours of the Order of St George, the hinged chinstraps in gilded brass, three side and rear buttons in gilded brass bearing the imperial eagle. Scuffs and scratches; restored.
