Description
Chapka of an officer in a Guard Dragoon regiment, 1882 model.
The cap is made of red woollen cloth with a gold cord along the upper rim and a wide black astrakhan band, with the Guard’s Saint Andrew’s badge in 84 zolotniks (875 thousandths) silver, polychrome enamelled, set in the centre, surmounted by a metal officer’s cockade. Signs of wear; interior partially restored.
