Description
Cap of His Majesty the Emperor’s Uhlan Regiment (Lancers), (or of His Majesty Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria’s 12th Belgorodsky Uhlan Regiment, or of certain other cavalry regiments), the upper crown in blue woollen cloth, edged with yellow piping around the crown and the band; the band in mustard-yellow cloth; the peak in black patent leather, with a silver-and-gold-plated copper cockade, enamelled black, mounted on a metal rosette. Bears the gilded stamp of the manufacturer Johann Heinrich Jta in Vienna, with various stamps on the inside of the cap. Nicholas II period, 1907–1914. L. 25 cm x D. (inside) 17.5 cm.
