the crown in orange woollen cloth, edged with orange piping all round the crown; the headband in blue cloth with blue piping; the peak in black patent leather, with a black-enamelled gilt metal cockade mounted on a metal rosette.
The lining is made of unbleached silk bearing the stamp of the manufacturer A. A. Senkovsky, with the eagle emblem of a supplier to the Imperial Court. Signs of wear and tears.

History
The Amur Cossack Army (named after the river) was a regular army corps of the Imperial Russian Army, designed to protect the borders of the Far East. It was established in 1860 by Emperor Alexander II from Cossacks resettled from the Transbaikal Cossack Army, following the Treaty of Aigun (1858) and the Convention of Peking (1860), which granted Russia the left bank of the Amur. Its headquarters are based in Blagoveshchensk on the Amur River, opposite the Chinese city of Heihe.
