Set of two mismatched epaulettes, one belonging to a colonel, most likely of Emperor Alexander II’s 2nd Courland Uhlan Regiment, bearing the cipher of Tsar Alexander II embroidered in gold thread and blue piping; the other embroidered twice with the cipher of Tsar Alexander II in silver and gold thread. Signs of wear. Russia, late 19th–early 20th century. H. 16 cm.
