A pair of epaulettes from the full dress uniform of a general of the army bearing the cipher of Tsar Alexander II, with silver zigzag braid, embroidered with the cipher of Tsar Alexander II in silver thread, blue piping, silver buttons bearing the imperial eagle; on the back, a label from Skossyrev, purveyor to the Imperial Court. Signs of wear. Russia, 1881–1914. H. 15.5 cm.
