Collar clasp for captains of the Preobrazhensky or Semenovsky regiments, made of gilded brass in the shape of a crescent, of the 1883 model, centred on the double-headed imperial eagle within a wreath of laurel and oak leaves in silver-plated brass, surrounded by the date commemorating the Battle of Narva: ‘1700. NO(NOVEMBER). 19.” in gilded brass and surmounted by the dates of the regiments’ foundation, the 150th anniversary of their affiliation with the Guard, and the bicentenary of the regiments “1683–1850–1883”, also in gilded brass, with a beaded border. With two rosettes of fastenings in gilded metal wire. Scarlet velvet lining, probably added later. Russia, 1883–1909. H. 6 x W. 16 cm.
