Collar badge of distinction for an officer of a regiment that took part in the Crimean War, made of gilded brass in the shape of a crescent, of the 1909 model, centred on the double-headed imperial eagle in silver-plated brass, surrounded by inscriptions in Cyrillic: ‘За Севастополь въ 1854 и 1855 годах’ (For Sevastopol in 1854 and 1855) in silver-plated brass, with a beaded border. With two rosette-shaped fastenings made of gilded metal wire. Original ecru velvet lining. Russia, 1909–1917. H. 5.5 x W. 13 cm.
