Standard finial probably from the Imperial Navy under Peter I, known as ‘the Great’, in gilded bronze, in the shape of an ivy leaf with a prominent central vein and decorated with the Cross of Saint Andrew on each side, with a cylindrical-conical socket and a single knob. Minor knocks and wear. Russia, early 18th century. H. 22.5 cm.
