A plaster profile portrait of Tsar Alexander II, imitating biscuit porcelain, monogrammed on the edge, mounted on a black percaline background. In a gilded wooden frame decorated with a frieze of pearls and ovals, with a label of provenance and a handwritten note on the reverse, dated 31 March 1946. Russia, second half of the 19th century.
