Probably a Mosin-Nagant rifle, 1907 model, with a wooden stock and steel fittings, bearing the manufacturer’s mark ‘NEW ENGLAND WESTINGHOUSE’; the butt is marked ‘COMMANDE ANGLAISE’. Signs of wear; a section is missing beneath the barrel. United States, New England Westinghouse Company, East Springfield, for Russia, circa 1915–1917. L. 106 cm. Category C Weapon classified as Category ‘C’ under Decree No. 2018-542 of 29 June 2018, and subject to declaration.
