Russian Empire, 19th century. A pair of two-armed candelabra, decorated with a fountain and cascades of faceted glass strands; the square base is in white marble, the baluster shaft in cobalt-blown glass, which brings the crystal pendants to life. The whole is mounted on gilded brass with chiselled decoration, topped with a diamond-point-cut crystal. The square base is made of white marble, the balustrade stem of blown cobalt glass, which accentuates the play of the crystal pendants.
