A large porcelain vase, probably from the Gardner factory, converted into a lamp. Polychrome decoration depicting a pharaoh’s profile and Daniel interpreting Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. Gilded bronze handle in the shape of a winged sphinx. 19th century. H_45 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Paris XVI Large porcelain vase, probably from the Gardner factory, later converted into a lamp. Polychrome decoration depicting the profile of a pharaoh and the scene ‘Daniel interpreting Nebuchadnezzar’s dream’. Handles made of gilded bronze in the shape of winged sphinxes. 19th century.
