The central motif can be attributed to Alexandra Vassilievna Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya, known for her stylised numerical designs. The date 1921 marks the end of the Civil War. The White forces survived only on the Siberian front and in the distant Mongolian steppe under Ungern.
The rims are adorned with stylised floral motifs in bright colours, which profoundly inspired Soviet decorative art.
