Tetraevangelion with the Letter to Carpian, the canons of concordance, and the introductions. 120 x 92 mm. 2 columns, 77 x 25. Written in the Bolorgir script, with Erkathagir initials. Quires of 24 folios, numbered from the end of the second quire. Quire 5 ends with the conclusion of the Gospel of Matthew. In quire 11, one bifolio is missing, replaced by a blank bifolio; the outer bifolio of quire 18, the final quire, is missing. Four full-page portraits of the Evangelists and a full-page illumination of the Transfiguration Ornate header and ornithomorphic initials Numerous marginal miniatures and floral motifs Full cloth binding. Spine and covers detached. Illuminations. Nine folios of concordances in a Byzantine layout, featuring ornithomorphic decorations and two figures of saints with speech bubbles in the first two illuminated folios.
