Description
An important neo-Romanesque gilt and chased bronze AUTEL FURNITURE comprising a CROSS and six PIQUE CIERGES. The tripod bases decorated with medallions of the Holy Family alternating with foliate scrolls rest on three dragon feet, the shaft decorated with acanthus leaves, the flattened ball knot chased with palmettes, the upper part decorated with medallions representing angels holding phylacteries "Spes" "Caritas" and "Fides" alternating with foliate scrolls. The cross is richly decorated with foliage on both sides. Height of the candlesticks: 68 cm. Height of the cross: 86.5 cm. Mark of the founder "L.E à Paris" on the inside of the bowls.
