A wooden Gunyéya racing mask with a black patina and signs of wear from ritual use. It features a beautiful oval-shaped face with eyes ringed with metal (aluminium) and surmounted by eyebrows. The nose is straight and well-proportioned, and the mouth, with its imposing lips, reveals metal teeth (aluminium, one of which is missing). The chin is adorned with a small beard made of knotted plant fibres. The interior displays a fine patina that bears witness to its age.
